The predictions of this storm hitting us were a bit concerning. The weather forecast changes hourly...from missing us to winds at 65 mph. Today has been the roughest with the wind gusting to 40 mph. And so, we crept into a marina where we are safe and calm and not bobbing up and down and lashing back and forth. We (mostly Ken) have been on anchor or a mooring buoy for over 3 weeks so it is a great luxury to be on land (a dock). We will wait until the seas settle before we head back down the Jersey Shore.
The calm before the storm.
Nice pictures!
ReplyDeleteStay safe! We are starting the rainy season here, with no wind for sailing. You adventurers are in the right spot.
